Hello Supporters!
I just wanted to drop a few lines to let you know what I have been up to the last few days. On Saturday morning I had the good fortune to go to a meeting of the Carpenter's Union to earn their endorsement. They will let me know at a later date if I earned it, but I think it went really well.
Later, on Saturday night, I attended the annual San Diego and Imperial Counties Labor Council dinner. It was a great night; we ate paella and had great conversations with many different labor leaders and elected officials. This photo is of myself and several of my brothers, sisters, and siblings in the California Teacher's Association.
Just a few hours ago, I am thrilled to report, I attended a meeting of the San Diego Democratic Education Alliance and they voted to endorse my candidacy! With their support, and the support of so many like you that are reading this, I am very excited about our chances to continue the good work we are doing at Southwestern College.
