MISSION

I am seeking to continue to serve in this position, as I have for the last two years. My own journey as a community college student and current high school teacher gives me a unique insight into what it takes to provide exceptional educational and job training opportunities to our community. With an emphasis on fiscal stability, my priorities will be to bring affordable student housing to the district, improve our connections to South Bay businesses, and strengthen our binational partnerships.

We must also expand our class offerings so that students have a variety of options and that they see themselves represented in the faculty and curriculum. One of my other priorities will be to dramatically increase our dual enrollment capacity so that our local high school students can compete in the increasingly competitive college and job markets.

I am a husband to a kindergarten teacher, a father of two children aged 14 and 11, and a high school sports coach. Most importantly, I continue to work tirelessly in service to the South Bay community. You can count on me to serve with integrity, and I hope I can count on your vote.
